Response: Having read different parts of this anthology, I believe this is the section that relates to my topic the most. It gives explanations of how appropriation came about and how is still very relevant today.

The industry manipulates us into buying songs and albums to support our black brothers and sisters, and makes it seem like we are financially supporting their creativity when we are not. It is seriously crazy to me that this still happens today and it happens in so many industries.
